How to Play a G Major Guitar Chord
The “G” major open chord is very similar to the “G7” open chord we’ve already learnt. The only difference found is on the 1st string. Unfortunately the similarities end there, as we have to rearrange our fingers quite a bit when changing between a “G7” and “G” major open chord.

How to Play a D Major Guitar Chord
The “D” major open chord is played on the four top strings only. The 1st and 2nd fingers are placed on the 2nd fret of the 1st and 3rd strings and the 3rd finger frets the 3rd fret on the 2nd string.

How to Play an E Minor Guitar Chord
The E minor open chord I recommend does not utilize the first finger. We simply place the 2nd and 3rd fingers on the 4th and 5th strings in the 2nd fret.
